The group

Permanent owners.
Active operators.

McFarlane Family of Companies is a family-owned investment and operating platform built from firsthand entrepreneurial experience. We understand what it means to start with nothing, manage crews, serve customers, sell a business and carry responsibility for the people behind it.

Today, we bring together established construction, service and supply businesses with shared financial, operational and marketing resources. Our companies retain the identities and relationships that made them valuable while gaining the support to build their next chapter.

An operating advantage

From supply
to installation.

Our portfolio reaches across the value chain. American Fence Supply supports material access and fabrication. Eagle Fence and Tropical Fence deliver installation, gates and access systems. Our pool companies design and build complete outdoor environments.

That proximity creates real advantages: local market knowledge, trade expertise, shared standards and teams that understand what excellent execution looks like in Southwest Florida.

Our founding story

Built one chapter
at a time.

Long before there was a family of companies, there were two young entrepreneurs willing to do the work. Chase and Mandy McFarlane built their path through service businesses, long days and a series of deliberate transitions—each one creating the foundation for what came next.

Chase & Mandy McFarlane

From a local landscaping route to a family-owned operating platform.

Chase started a local landscaping company in 2012 and grew it into an operation with approximately 600 accounts and multiple crews running daily. Chase and Mandy met in 2016, shortly after Mandy graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a teaching degree and began her career as an elementary school teacher.

Together, they opened Escape the Cape—the first escape room in Cape Coral. Mandy taught during the day and designed rooms in the evenings. The business became a local destination and was successfully sold after roughly three years of growth.

In 2018, their first child was born. Mandy did not return to teaching, the landscaping company was sold, and the McFarlanes turned their attention toward fencing. After operating their own fence business for about a year, they began acquiring the companies and real estate that would become McFarlane Family of Companies.

While the portfolio grew, so did the family. A second child arrived in 2020 and a third in 2024. Along the way, Chase and Mandy also built a small family hobby farm—a reminder that the companies have always been part of a larger goal: creating a lasting life, legacy and foundation for the next generation.

For business owners

You built the reputation.
We respect what it took.

If you are considering a transition, we want to understand the business before talking about a deal. That includes your people, your customers, the name you built and what you want the next chapter to look like.
